I have been drawing and painting from an early age, drawing whatever interested me at the time.   I attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a Bachelors degree in Fine Art.

 I have long had a love of science fiction and fantasy art and enjoyed experimenting and developing works in that vein. I also loved comic book art and in spare moments worked up a comic with my own super hero Clumsy Man just for my two boys as something fun for them. Well with pressure from them to actually draw a finished comic book, the boys and I came to a understanding that they would be responsibly involved with the production as a lesson for them in business and deadlines.  All family done ,except for the printing, we started selling these comic books at comic conventions. I began doing more fantasy and sci-fi related work to augment the comic sales. I also turned back to a pen and ink style that I loved, doing some renderings of some locomotives from a long lost local logging railroad in my home town.

 I'm following my heart, producing work that I have a passion for. Through pen and ink, pencil, oil and acrylic paints, prisma color pencils, digital work. I also design and build 3D Model railroads, model dioramas and wargaming battle boards. 

I continue to infuse my passion onto paper canvas, digital media and 3D models.  I'd love to share that passion with you!
